Quick Tip #1: Master the Favorites List Organization

The SDS100 can handle up to 128 Favorites Lists, but here's the secret: organization is everything. Instead of dumping all your frequencies into one or two lists, create dedicated lists by purpose:

• List 1: Local PD/Fire/EMS for instant access • List 2: Highway Patrol & regional agencies
• List 3: Aircraft (if near an airport) • List 4: Railroad frequencies • List 5: Special events

Why? Because you can quickly enable/disable entire lists with the function key, making your scanner hyper-focused on what you want to monitor RIGHT NOW. No more scrolling through hundreds of channels.

Pro move: Use the Sentinel software to build and organize these lists on your computer – it's WAY faster than programming on the scanner itself.
